"You are allowed to take up space."
"Rest is not failure."

Small Steps, Real Impact
You don't have to overhaul your life. Start here.
Breathe
Try box breathing: inhale 4 counts, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4. Repeat 4 times. It activates your parasympathetic nervous system and slows anxiety.
Name It
When you feel overwhelmed, name the emotion out loud or write it down. Research shows that labeling emotions reduces their intensity.
Move Your Body
Even a 10-minute walk can reduce cortisol levels and improve mood. You don't need a gym — just movement.
Limit Doomscrolling
Set a 15-minute timer for social media. When it goes off, put the phone down. Your nervous system will thank you.
Connect with Someone
Text a friend. Call a family member. Even a brief genuine connection can shift your mental state significantly.
Sleep Hygiene
Consistent sleep and wake times — even on weekends — are one of the most powerful tools for mental health regulation.
